Gmail Email Forwarding

How to forward your new Google Apps Gmail email to another account?

If you don't intend to login to your new Google Apps Gmail account on a regular basis, I suggest you login and forward your email to one you use more often.

Here's how to setup automatic forwarding:
  1. Sign in to your Gmail at your new domain: mail.yourdomain.com, enter you User ID and Password
  2. From the Mail page, click the "Settings" on the top right of your email page.
  3. Open the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
  4. Enter the email address to which you'd like your messages forwarded.
  5. Select the action you'd like your messages to take from the drop-down menu. You can choose to keep Gmail's copy of the message in your inbox, or you can send it automatically to All Mail or Trash.
  6. Click Save Changes.
You also can set up filters to forward email messages that meet specific criteria. You can create 20 filters that forward to other addresses, or you can maximize your filtered forwarding by combining filters that send to the same address.

If you have a different email that supports IMAP, you can also set that up with this email account.
